While investigating this in the visual mode, it became clear that much of restricted speech applies to women more than to men; hence the first three diptychs, which use smaller areas of the Giotto applied to actual individuals in this world. The larger work, which uses the entire Giotto image, deals with the frightening aspect of assaults on artifacts and artworks by fundamentalist religious groups.
